Kia ora bloggers, on Friday I was asked to make a story about a native New Zealand bird I chose the kārearea/NZ falcon. I made a story that birds and cats would live in harmony for the rest of eternity and I really wish that this could happen but I guess life is life. Here is my story and what you where supposed to do.
Fantastic story Luka! I really enjoyed how the cat (your original antagonist) became an ally to the flacon to defeat the poacher in the end. Your story captures the journey of the falcon and showed how his conflict with the cat made him grow and become better, creating peace among them. I liked your use of imagery with the the description of "human pancake". It created a great visual in my mind of what could happen to the poacher. In your next story it would be awesome to see more description of the setting and other characters to be able to imagine what they are like too. Overall, this story had really good conflicts and climax. You did a great job of creating problems and describing how the falcon and the cat overcame these problems together, and grew as a characters. Ka pai!
